Depends: Shots of testosterone (T) is not the recommended way of receiving T since it will cause a large rise in the level within a few days of injection, and then gradually fall. The T level will depend on when it is drawn after the injection. Doing it after 2 days will show a peak level, doing it before the next dose will show a trough level. T gels provide a more stable level and is more physiologic
