See an allergist!: You mention congestion, but not whether it is nasal or in her chest. Xyzal (levocetirizine) is a good antihistamine. For nasal congestion a nasal steroid is a better option than any antihistamine. If she has chest congestion while taking Forcort (Symbicort (budesonide and formoterol) in the USA), her asthma is not well controlled. She should see an allergist/immunologist for proper management.
