$200-1500, depends: Cost varies by location, contrast, radiology read time, etc. If "have" to have one, can work with local hospital social work / financial assistance office in advance to make plan. If urgent / emergent--can go to er where we treat people regardless of ability to pay, and then address bill later.

Depending: Depending on the type of ct scan ordered, they can cost several thousand dollars. But the costs vary widely from place to place, so it would be good to shop around your area and ask each site what they charge for the scan you are considering. You would typically have 2 separate bills: one for the scan itself and a separate bill for the interpretation. The interpretation bill is much smaller.
