A member asked:

What do you suggest if my test result hbs ag is showing negative. what means this?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Incomplete info: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, hbsag negative suggests you do not have active infection. See this site for more info. http://www.cdc.gov/hepatitis/hbv/pdfs/serologicchartv8.pdf
