A member asked:

What happens if neuron cells can not divide or(do division of cell) so why brain cancer happen?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not neurons: Most brain cancers are from the cells surrounding neurons rather than he neurons themselves. Within the brain there are neurons, glial cells (supporting cells), and cells that make up the walls of vessels. These latter two cell types can divide and make up most of the primary brain cancers.
