Probably not: fainting can occur from psychogenic stimuli, low blood count, and a few rare conditions. It has to be distinguished from the fall that occurs from seizures. Fainting can be a problem if it happens frequently without warning because you could faint in a hazardous surrounds and be injured. If it happens a lot, your family doctor should evaluate you and look for underlying causes.
