A member asked:

Hi docs, do you think it's bad that i sleep 10 hours at night but still wake up groggy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Ineffective sleep: Ten hours of regular quality sleep per night should be more than adequate for daytime alertness. Sleep apnea is associated with daytime fatigue, morning headaches, poor concentration, hypertension, weight gain, and overall poor quality of life. A sleep study would be helpful in determining the problem with your sleep.
