The most commonly used oral meds are Metformin (which help lower glucose from liver), sulfonylureas and glinides (which increase insulin production), TZDs (lower Insulin resistance) and DPP-4 inhibitors (increase insulin, lower liver glucose). Common injectables are insulin and GLP-1 agonists (like DPP-4 inh but also lower weight).
