A member asked:

What happens if a person damages their left vision center, can he/she still see?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: I assume that you mean the occipital lobe which is the vision processing center of the brain. If the left lobe is damage the vision the right 1/2 will be compromised or lost if the damage is severe. The same, and opposite , for damage to the right lobe. So loss of one lobe ends vision on one side from each eye but the other side still can see normally.
