what do you suggest if my dad needs a double lung transplant but possibly a kidney transplant first aswho are waiting for a transplant, actually get one in time?

Dr. Amrita Dosanjh

Coordination: I would suggest checking with the transplantation center and asking for clarification regarding listing. In order to perform the lung transplantation, good renal function is needed. Some of the medications used in management after transplantation may affect kidney function, so this is an important clinical issue.
