No: Antihistamines block histamines which cause stuffines, drainage, sneezing, and itching. Sudafed is a decongestant that works by cause constriction of blood vessels in the nose. Sudafed can cause elevated heart rate, elevated blood pressure, and insomnia. Antihistamines usually do not.
