Antibiotics: Funiculitis is inflammation of the spermatic cord.Treated with broad spectrum antibiotics such as cipro (ciprofloxacin) or levofloxacin or by doxycycline or septra.Also NSAIDS,scrotal support &,if epididymis also inflamed,ice pack intermittently.The doctor who ordered the sonogram,is surely following up on the ultrasound report.
