A member asked:

What do you suggest if my grandson is 9.he may have coats disease or retinoblastoma,is there any treatment for coat's?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Limited treatments: Coat's is an extremely rare condition. There are are limited treatments ( laser & cryotherapy) as far as I am aware off ( but I am a pediatrician, not a pediatric ophthalmologist so I am not up to date on the latest therapy). If it is Coat's, I'd recommend you see a pediatric ophthalmologist that is an expert on this disease
