Yes and no.: CPAP will almost certainly be effective for treating mild sleep apnea, but there might be other, less unappealing approaches. A special bite guard made by a dentist can be effective for treating mild sleep apnea. In some cases surgery could be a cure. If the sleep apnea is really mild and you are sufficiently motivated, weight loss could be effective as well.
