A member asked:

What do you suggest if my 55 years old brother has metastatic bladder cancer?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Tests, treatment: Appropriate imaging (usually CT scans, biopsies, cystoscopy, perhaps a bone scan) and blood work is done. Then treatment is done to control the cancer and minimize symptoms. Chemotherapy is almost certainly going to be recommended. Radiation or surgery can also be an important part of treatment to relieve symptoms.
