Probably not!: If the hair is light colored and not coarse but soft it should be fine. Have him seen by the pediatrician just in case.

Not really: Humans will have fine hair over almost all body surfaces including near their genitals.Newborns and young infants often have fine soft light colored hair in their pubic area. If it bothers you bring it up at a regular checkup.I would not schedule a special visit just for this.
