Great Q. Tough A.: Ok, so this might sound gross, but places like shower and steam rooms are hot, humid, laden with germs from bare bottoms or damp towels. They are the perfect environment for organisms to grow and thrive. So i would ask about the steam room as well as the health of the person undergoing detox. An exam by a primary care physician or institutional md would be helpful. Extra pain is not a good thing

Needs examination: There is nothing about a steam treatment (and in my opinion such treatments do not "detox" anything, but do open up pores and may make people feel better) that should cause a painful lump. I would be more concerned that she might have gotten pubic lice from someone else sitting there or that it might be folliculitis. It needs an examination by her health professional.
