A member asked:

How is ozonated olive oil to help heal lupus lesions, how effective was it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Ozonated oils: Several oils including sunflower and olive have been ozonated and sold to treat various skin lesions. Since amount of peroxide produced is important and no processes have been approved and clinically tested, it is important to know that in some studies healing has improved and in others harmed. Until these problems have been subjected to rigorous clinical study, it would be wise to avoid for now.
