Screening: A majority of cancers can be detected with screening (mammography, PSA testing/prostate exam, and colonoscopy), and therefore no symptoms prompt the diagnosis. When symptoms do present, they are usually specific to the tumor location such as a breast mass (breast ca), coughing/coughing blood (lung ca), seizure (brain ca),etc. Generalized symptoms can include fatigue, weight loss, fevers/chills.
