Almond help to reduce hdl?

HDL: You want your HDL to be high, not reduced. Almonds do not help reduce hdl. Researchers at the university of connecticut reviewed the scientific literature regarding the impact of almonds on lipids. They discovered that almond consumption ranging from 25 to 168 g a day had no effect on HDL cholesterol levels.

No sig change: Saturated fat will raise HDL so changing from a high saturated fat diet to one rich in poly-unsaturated fats such as nuts may lower HDL but the almonds are not lowering the hdl.
