What happens if someone has metastatic melanoma, do they have lymphoma or is that completely different disease?

Different disease: The cells that become cancerous in lymphoma and melanoma are different. However, melanoma, like many cancers, can involve the lymph nodes. This means the melanoma has spread to the lymph nodes. However, it is not lymphoma.
