At least 376 differ-: ent microdeletions & microduplications or Copy Number Variants in small sequences of genes on various chromosomes are known autism susceptibility genetic abnormalities. Chromosomal Microarray finds CNV's in 10-15% of people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder &/or Intellectual Disability. A DNA Probe for Fragile X Syndrome, a known cause of ID & ASD, still has to be done.
