A 38-year-old member asked:
What happens if you get zits around your hairline due to excess oil and sweat, why don't you get them on your scalp, in your hair?

Forehead acne: You can get "zits" in your scalp but it is more common on the forehead near the hairline for several reasons. One is thinness of forehead skin compared to scalp. Two is composition of glands both seat and sebaceous. Third is hormonal effects. Finally sun exposure or lack there of can play a role. Hope this helps and keep washing with a mild cleanser twice a day.
