A member asked:

What happens if someone touched me with a plantar wart will i get one?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Contagious: Warts are viruses and are therefore contagious. However, there must be fluid exchange for the virus to be transmitted. Meaning, if the person's wart happened to be bleeding at the time and you have an open sore which came into contact with it, then you would contract the virus.
