Duct tape: It is very slow but can work in many cases. Generally warts eventually go away but not always and it is best to treat before they become more painful. The more effective therapies are typically more painful.

Many: There are many non painful treatments such as creams, cold laser, pulse dye laser, and oral cimetidine. I do not like acids bc they cause superficial burns and if over used will cause pain. I prefer Efudex (fluorouracil) as it is painless.

Several treatments.: You can try over the counter wart removers, but be careful: i've seen them do more harm than good. Other options your doctor might offer include cryotherapy (freezing the wart), electrocautery (burning the wart), laser treatment, or several different topical chemical treatments. If the treatment is typically uncomfortable, your doctor can numb the area before proceeding.
