A member asked:

Why do you sweat when you eat?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Many causes.: Physiologic causes include hot temperatures, hot foods and spicy foods - things that raise your body temperature enough to signal the sympathetic nervous system to turn down the heat. Nonphysiologic causes include nervous system communication breakdowns such as Parkinson's disease, nerve damage associated with diabetes, shingles, and nerve damage from surgery.
