Support is needed: There is most likely some sort of strain in that area which involves either a tendon, plantar fascia or both. Good supportive shoes are important , but insoles are also very important. Most of the Over The Counter insoles do not provide enough support. You may have to see a foot specialist to get evaluated and fitted for an appliance.
