A member asked:

Does the menstrual cycle changes when i took dostinex (cabergoline) for prolactin hormones?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It should: Hi. Yes, if the cabergoline (Dostinex) effectively controls your hyperprolactinemia, normal periods should resume and breast milk should stop. The vast majority of prolactinoma tumors can be controlled (and sometimes cured) by cabergoline. The resumption of normal periods may take a number of months from when you start taking the drug. Good luck!
