A member asked:

Infantile shudder syndrome. what is it? what are the symptoms? is it serious? my baby shudders every once in a while should i be concerned?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not harmful: Babies do shudder at times and that is normal. Some have repeated shuddering episodes, and may have the infant shudder syndrome. Even though it may appear frightening, infants who have seen experts have no abnormal findings and eventually grow out of it.
