I have severe left jaw pain that spreads to surrounding area including throat and ear. i really don't know what to do with it.

Could be: it could be a multitude of things. please go to your physician for an appropriate history and physical exam. could be ear infection or infected tooth or throat or a combination. either way have it checked.

Determine Cause: You will need to have yourself examined to determine the cause of your discomfort. It may be a number of things, including a problem with a wisdom tooth, grinding your teeth, etc. Let a local dentist examine you and rule out any problems with your teeth, and then see your physician.
