Irregular periods: It sounds to me like you are having an irregular period. If you think you could be pregnant, do a pregnancy test. Otherwise, it sounds like there is nothing to worry about.

Call your OBGYN: Spotting and cramping between periods could signify a wide range of things. It could be caused by sex, cervical or vaginal lesions, normal pregnancy, ectopic pregnancy etc.If it resolves on it's own, then it probably was nothing, but if it persists, please take it seriously and call your OBGYN. If you've had unprotected sex in the past few weeks you may want to take a pregnancy test.
