Yes: It's always possible that birth control can fail. Having said that, there's no harm in checking a pregnancy test. They are relatively inexpensive and accurate. It is unlikely if you haven't missed any pills, but even perfect use of birth control pills is going to have a 4-6% pregnancy rate over course of 1 year of use. If don't want to be pregnant, consider condoms and birth control. Good luck
