A misunderstanding?: It's very unusual for your doctor to change your gestational age when you are already so far along. Is it possible that you did not understand what she meant to say or vice versa? She may have meant that the size of the baby is measuring 1 week less than it should be but that doesn't mean she will change your dates. You may need to talk with your doctor to make sure you are both on the same page.
