GI or Procto Dr.: You may need a GI or Procto Dr. The anal fissure, depending on the size of it, needs to heal. Pain meds may be needed and it is recommended to have stools that are regular and at the least NOT constipated to allow the area to heal without stretching as much. A Colo-rectal dr (or proctologist) and/or GI may be better than the rubbish dr. you saw, as the anal fissures are literally a Pain in the A.

See specialist: A colorectal specialist may try things like topical nitroglycerin to relax the muscle or even Botox or a small operation if absolutely needed. Also soak in lukewarm water and use something like miralax (polyethylene glycol) day to keep the bowel movements very soft to help with healing. Hope you feel better soon!
