Localized collection of pus in and near tonsil.a pack came out with pus near tonsils.took antibiotics but pus not completely going? what to do

Could be tonsilith: The "pus" you see and dislodge could simply be a tonsillith or tonsil stone. They occur in patients who have cryptic appearing tonsils. These usually don't require treatment, just gatlrgling with water. A true tonsil abscess requires seeing an ENT doc for drainage. Antibiotics alone usually aren't enough to treat or cure an abscess
