Pregnancy: The baby's head may be pressing on the bladder or bowels as it is turning and moving down the birth canal. This is common. Ask your OB for further advice.

Near term symptoms: At this point pressure from the baby and uterus agaist your bladder while create these symptoms, though your OB can rule out a UTI at your follow up. Constipation is also common in pregnancy. In addition bowel activity might increase both Braxton Hicks contractions and regular contractions.

Low baby: probably if you are already effaced, the baby is low and is causing you pressure symptoms. if the baby is moving, there is no bleeding and there is no leakage of fluid, you can wait to see your doc
