Rare liver probs: Bupropion is metabolized by the liver, and in people with impaired liver function, the dose needs to be kept on the low side as an adjustment. Bupropion reportedly can cause fatty liver disease, and more commonly mild liver enzyme elevations - there are reports of rare acute liver damage from this medication.Speak with you doctor about monitoring and liver issues as well.
