Good, tough question: First, presumably these are constitutional (predisposed by genetics and early life experience). If so, then your significant other needs to understand because the condition will be a part both of your lives. Your significant other must understand and accept or both of you will end up more unhappy. Second, to control symptoms medicines are faster than counseling.

What are you doing : currently for your OCD and depression? If you are not in treatment currently - please do so. The combination of psychotropic medications and talking therapy will likely be needed. It sounds like you have a lot at stake - including your happiness & your wellbeing. Get help now.
