Yes.this is a bruise: that will resolve over the next two weeks called a sub-conjunctival hemorrhage.Looks terrible but is harmless.if not slowly resolving over next 2 wks,have a professional take a look.

Yes, gently.: If you are taking blood thinner medication and are getting frequent blood- shot eyes and black and blue marks on your body, be sure to inform your physician. Gentle exersize (not high impact or strenuous weight lifting) is usually possible.
