Normal post-op: This is normal after hemorrhoid surgery. The important thing is to keep your bowel soft, don't stop a bowel movement it will get worse if you stop it. Use sitz bath twice a day with worm water to relax the sphincter. Take a pain medicine before a bowel movement or ask your doctor to change the dose for you. Take stool softners every day.
