Sick liver: I would need so much more information than a few lab tests and one blood sugar to even know what path to go down in figuring out what is wrong. I do know this child has a very sick liver, but what is causing that needs tons of investigation with the history of the illness, physical exam and other lab tests. Hopefully you are working with a pediatric hepatologist (liver doctor) to figure things out

This is serious: Extremely so. This girl needs a workup primarily for genetic disease of the liver. A biopsy may be in order.
