Get worked up: There's so much written on the blogs about Lyme disease -- much of it is probably misleading -- that folks forget the common causes of arthritis. You may have rheumatoid arthritis, reactive arthritis, lupus, juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, or any of several other entities, and should be under the care of a competent rheumatologist by now.

Joint pain: Joint pains may be due to a number of underlying problems other than Lyme disease. With joint pains as bad as you are describing, you definitely need to be seen by a bone/joint specialist - a Rheumatologist.
