Yes: Intestinal candida does exist. It can be present in small or large quantity. It can be hard to diagnose. There are specialty labs such as Genova/Metametrix that can do a stool study that looks for candida and other problems.

Yes: Candida is present on many objects such as utensils and are found in our intestines in usually small quantities. In some cases they proliferate markedly if our normal intestinal bacteria don't keep them in check and symptoms develop(gas,bloating,cramps).
