Clomid: delay: "Clomid" (chomiphene citrate) is taken to assist in the occurence of ovulation. Low doses do not always procude ovulation, but in general, if a period is delayed, a serum pregnancy test (not urine) should be obtained. A "trigger shot" is a shot of HCG used in infertility situations to effect ovulation. Both clomid (clomiphene) and HCG (trigger shot) can delay menstual onset but prenancy may be the reason.

Clomid (clomiphene) : Clonus could delay your cycle - sometimes pts take longer to ovulate. The trigger shot should ensure that you ovulate when it is given at the right time. If you don't get pregnant - your cycle should come in 14 days.
