No: Clomid (clomiphene) is not meant to delay a period. It is to make you ovulate. If your period is delayed you could be pregnant or did not ovulate. Call your gyn.

Not by much: You should ovulate 5-9 days after your last Clomid (clomiphene) pill; so if you started the Clomid (clomiphene) on day 3, then days 12-17 and if started on day 5, then you should ovulate day 14-19. Generally if you are not pregnant you will get your period 11-14 days later. If your period is later than that, you are either pregnant or did not ovulate. Occ on cc you can get a simple cyst that can delay your period 5-10.
