A member asked:

How reliable are home pregnancy tests (ones like clearblue and first response) and what is the likelihood of a false neg. weeks after missed period?

Reliable: If you do the test correctly and do it 4-5 days after a missed period, a negative result essentially rules out pregnancy.

Pretty reliable: If performed correctly and enough time has past. If test is performed too early you can have a false negative, but it sounds as if you are far enough out.
