Longer term monitor: if you have not had an event monitor, you probably should . this is a device placed by the doctor on which you can press 'record' when you feel symptoms. you would wear it for a month or so and see if you can 'capture' the rhythm at the time of symptoms. if you have only had testing (EKG, for example), without symptoms present, you are probably missing the chance to see the rhythm at the onset.

Palpitations: At your age could be due to anxiety or caffeine consumption. Do not feel truly cardiac. Would perhaps have your thyroid tested to rule out an over active thyroid.

Heart flutter: The diagnosis here will either be anxiety vs some form of heart rhythm disturbance. Will suggest Holter monitor since symptoms occur every day. It is reassuring if the Holter heart rhythm is normal when you feel the heart flutter.

At 26, heart issues: Are not likely. But it's good your test is normal. This may be a panic attack or anxiety. But they are both serious and feel awful - get a referral for CBT psychotherapy where you can learn skills to avoid, reduce and manage anxiety. You can also learn more about yourself and how to take better care of the only you you've got. Good luck.
