HCG levels: All pregnancy tests work by detecting a certain hormone in the urine or blood that is only there when a woman is pregnant. This hormone is called human chorionic gonadotropin It is also called the pregnancy hormone. hCG is made when a fertilized egg implants in the uterus. How would any toothpaste play a role in that test? It's more puzzling to me whether the question is a joke or serious?

No you can't : Mentadent is anti-cavity fluoride toothpaste. If do you want something to tell you if you're pregnant, use a home pregnancy test or ask your PCP for laboratory test.

Absolutely not: Using toothpaste as a pregnancy test is as ineffective as using a pregnancy test kit to brush your teeth. Pregnancy is life-altering. Please use a reputable pregnancy test kit, and if positive seek pre-natal care immediately.
