A member asked:

Do homemade pregnancy tests really work? i took 5 of them and all turned out negative.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Reliable: HOME pregnancy tests that are bought at the drug store on the shelf and measure the pregnancy hormone HCG are very reliable. Be sure to take the test in the morning and ideally 10 days or more after you've missed your period. HOMEMADE pregnancy tests are not reliable and have not been studied.
