A member asked:

Small amount of fluid around the heart, given naproxen every 12 hours. is my fatigue, shortness of breath, and difficulty swallowing due to this?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Cart before horse: No, a small amount of fluid around your heart (I'm assuming a small pericardial effusion) would not cause your symptoms. However, the process causing the effusion is the likely cause of your symptoms, e.g. viral syndrome, collagen vascular disease, myxedema, others.
